Atrium on Takutai
Atrium on Takutai
THIS STUNNING COVERED SHOPPING AND FOOD GALLERY CONNECTS TAKUTAI SQUARE WITH THE PRECINCT’S EASTERN PERIMETER AND IS HOME TO SOME OF BRITOMART’S MOST EXCLUSIVE BOUTIQUES.
Atrium on Takutai is a light, airy, glassed-in space that runs between the Ernst & Young Building and the northern element of Westpac on Takutai Square. Lined with high-end retail stores, it features two beautiful ‘green walls’, large-scale vertical plantings that live on harvested rainwater and provide many environmental benefits to the complex.
Walking street Te Ara Tāhuhu passes through the Atrium, linking Takutai Square to Britomart Place and providing access to the adjacent Britomart Car Park and Les Mills fitness club.
Open to pedestrian access 24 hours a day, Atrium on Takutai is also the site of an entrance to the Britomart Transport Centre underground train station.
