Orleans kicks off Mardi Gras festivities by hosting a pie eating competition, in true Louisiana style. Head to Roukai Lane Saturday 04 March, 6pm sharp to be blown away by Auckland’s best eaters as they smash back Orleans’ infamous pies. Afterward a night full of entertainment ensues including exotic Mardi Gras dancers, the best selection of Cajun and Creole inspired cuisine, topped off with the a wide variety of drinks specials including Makers Mark, Plymouth Gin, Havana Club Especial and Tiger. The music line up guarantees to keep you dancing into the early hours, featuring The Voodoo Set, Hollyoo DJs, Imagine This and The Foreign Faders.
