The coveted British fashion label Ted Baker London delivers a shopping experience as unique as the brand itself.

Ted Baker’s combination of classic British style and quirky detailing has won it a loyal following of fashionistas and fashionistos worldwide.

As you browse through the beautifully cut designs in store, pay special attention to the details: this is a label that delights in subtle touches of embroidery and trim. Ted Baker prides itself on offering ‘twice the product for half the price’ – and the fine fabrics, tailoring and detailing make it clear why.

Whether you’re acquainting yourself with the label for the first time or you’re a long-time fan, a visit to the Britomart store will be one of surprise and discovery. Each Ted Baker store is individually designed in a style both luxurious and playful, full of little touches waiting to be revealed.

Individuality and style

Ted Baker was launched in 1987 in Glasgow as a tailored shirt specialist, which quickly gained a reputation for quality, attention to detail – and personality.

Every shirt purchased from the early stores came with a free laundry service, capturing the attention of both customers and fashion media. With no budget for traditional advertising, founder Ray Kelvin focused on building his fledgling designer label through offbeat marketing tactics and word of mouth.

Despite a continued ‘no advertising’ policy, the brand has grown to encompass a full range of menswear, womenswear, accessories, fragrance, footwear, jewellery and watches.

The collections today continue to vividly express ‘Ted’s’ personality, with humour, individuality and style woven into every piece. All the key ranges are now available at New Zealand’s only Ted Baker store – right here at Britomart.
