The Face Place’s Britomart med spa sits on Customs Street East, just a stone’s throw from fellow Britomart beauty businesses Ryder Salon, The Tooth Company and OFF Wax & Brow Bar.

Initially launched by Dr Catherine Stone in 2001 as New Zealand’s first specialised Botox clinic, The Face Place was re-launched in 2004 as the country’s first medical spa, and clients now travel from all over the world for the natural looking results that the clinic is renowned for.

The clinic is home to an expert team of industry-leading doctors, nurses and medical skin therapists, all qualified to provide high reward, low risk, medically proven cosmetic treatments to help people look and feel great.

A PIONEERING NEW ZEALAND MEDICAL SPA

Founder Dr Catherine Stone left a career training towards plastic and reconstructive surgery to train with the pioneers of cosmetic Botox, becoming the first doctor in Australasia to administer Botox full time.

A magazine columnist and winner of a bevy of business awards, Catherine has also achieved recognition as an expert on television programmes ‘Ten Years Younger in Ten Days’ and ‘The Skin Doctors’.

“We have a fantastic team that is passionate about what we do, and we care deeply about our clients,” says Catherine of The Face Place’s dedicated approach. “Everything we do has to be proven to be safe, simple and effective, naturally based, non-animal and medically proven.”

The Face Place’s treatments span everything from injectables for relaxing wrinkles through to medical treatments for Bell’s palsy and headaches, while dermal therapists provide treatments and advice to help clients achieve enviably beautiful skin.
