A monthly art and design market at Britomart showcases the work of Auckland’s freshest up-and-coming artists and designers. Contemporary artifacts for sale include jewellery, ceramics, textiles, limited-edition T-shirts, leatherware, object art and prints.

In December, the Art & Design Market is joining together with the City Farmers’ Market on Gore Street for a special Britomart Christmas Market Day. The special Christmas edition of the art market is the last market of 2012 and will run from 10am to 2.30pm on Saturday 15 December at Atrium on Takutai, in creative partnership with MoAD (Ministry of Art & Design). 

Parking is available at Britomart Car Park, located on the corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place. A $6 special parking rate applies between 8.30am and 3pm if you get your ticket validated at the market.
