Entries Now Open for Sculpt Women's 6k Event

Entries have opened for women’s fitness event the Sculpt Women’s 6k, which will take place at Britomart on Sunday 4 December 2011.
Designed to be a fun, inclusive event for women of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, it’s set out over a flat, buggy-friendly course comfortable for both running and walking.
The event consists of two laps of a three-kilometre circuit, starting and finishing at Takutai Square, looping out along Beach Road and The Strand and returning along Quay Street.
The entry fee is $40 and all entrants receive a goody bag, while the first 2000 entrants also receive a Sculpt Women’s 6k event T-shirt. All event finishers also go into the draw for a zippy brand-new Mazda2 hatchback.
Sculpt has also put together a choice of easy-to-follow training programmes to help beginners work up to the event: a nine-week programme for runners and a five-week programme for walkers.
