As the Operations Co-ordinator for the Westpac on Takutai Square-Ernst & Young Building at Britomart, no two days are the same for Aman Chand. Aman spends the majority of his day liaising with contractors, security staff and retailers in order to keep everything running smoothly and safely. If you weren’t at Britomart right now, where would you most like to be?

At Mission Bay with my family and kids.

What gets you through night shift?

Listening to music on my iPod.

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve seen someone do on the job?

A drunk person fell over inside the lift and couldn’t get up so he just slept in the lift until we got him out. 

What team do you support?

Auckland Blues, All Blacks, Fijian Sevens and Brisbane Broncos.

What’s your favourite reading material?

The New Zealand Herald.

What’s your worst habit?

Drinking too much coffee. I like the Bean Counter cafe at Westpac on Takutai Square.

What do you eat/drink too much of?

The smoothies from the Bean Counter cafe are too good to go past most days.

What’s the most terrifying thing you’ve ever done?

Bungee jump.

What’s on the stereo in your car?

Radio Tarana, it is a Fijian radio station.

What experience would like to bottle?

My graduation parade after graduating from the Fijian Police College.

What’s your signature dish?

I am a master at making any kind of stir-fry.

What one wish would you ask the genie for?

My dream home.

What would your superpower be?

It would be awesome to be able to fly.

What would you put in a time capsule for your kids?

Education, I think that is very important.

What’s your perfect Saturday night/Sunday morning?

Spending time with my family and kids, or watching some sport on television.

What’s your favourite place at Britomart for lunch?

Pita Pit Britomart.
