One of New Zealand’s hottest young designers, Juliette Hogan, is to open a new flagship store at Britomart in December 2012. The boutique, the second for the eight-year-old fashion label, will be located in the Pavilions food and fashion development now under construction in the centre of the precinct.

Since her celebrated debut at New Zealand Fashion Week in 2006, Juliette has had a meteoric rise to fashion fame. She opened her Ponsonby store in 2007 and has continued to deliver acclaimed catwalk collections year after year.

Juliette’s collections are known for their subtle blend of classic feminine prettiness and contemporary sexiness. She will open her Britomart store with the full range of her Summer 2012/13 collection, entitled ‘Yacht Rockers’ and channelling 80s-inspired resort wear and nautical influences.

“Yacht Rockers is my best collection to date,” says Juliette. “It’s crisp and cohesive, with interesting fabrics and some great signature prints.”

She says the Britomart store will take the Juliette Hogan experience to a new level of sophistication.

“The fitout will be amazing. It’s going to have a very crisp, polished feel and will be a great showcase for the collections. I love the garden idea of The Pavilions and our store will open right out onto the central dining courtyard area.

“I’m really happy to have the opportunity to come to Britomart and do something new and exciting in an environment that my customers love.”
