L’Assiette Launches Outdoor Pop-Up Bar for World Cup
L’Assiette, our French cafe-bistro on Britomart Place, has extended its opening hours for the duration of the World Cup in anticipation of playing host to fans of all nationalities – but particularly French.
As well as opening early for breakfast every day, L’Assiette will stay open every night except Monday through to 23 October. All the games will be screened live on SKY TV, with the sound on for major games.
An outdoor pop-up bar will serve Kronenbourg on tap for France games and other big matches, including the opening game on Friday 9 September. There will also be a lighter snack menu available in addition to the main dinner menu.
L’Assiette’s new à la carte evening menu includes classic French dishes such as duck confit, scotch fillet and chicken ballantine. The menu is complemented by a good selection of French wine and rounded off by a small selection of classic desserts.
