Having spent more than 10 years running the kitchens of Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin starred restaurants from London to New York, Josh Emett’s talent is unmistakable. Josh is also a judge on MasterChef NZ and has developed a huge following around the country.

For one night only – Wednesday 15 August – Aucklanders will have the opportunity to try the cuisine from Josh’s first New Zealand based restaurant Rata, located in Queenstown. Josh will collaborate with Warren Turnbull who is back cooking in New Zealand after setting up the hugely successful District Dining and Assiette restaurants in Sydney. The Britomart District Dining restaurant he now operates with his wife Mimi Gilmour has become one of the best reviewed and most acclaimed restaurants in Auckland, and made a virtual clean sweep at the recent Lewisham Awards.

'A Taste of Rata' will see the two chefs prepare a dinner experience based on the Rata style of slow cooking and robust flavours. All dishes will be matched with fine New Zealand wines for an inclusive price of $250 per person.
