Trelise Cooper Flagship Store to Open at Britomart
Trelise Cooper, one of New Zealand’s most successful international fashion houses, is to open a store at Britomart. The new boutique will be located in The Pavilions, the shopping and dining complex now under construction in the centre of the precinct.
Expected to open in early December 2012, the store will carry full collections of Trelise Cooper and Cooper by Trelise, as well as Trelise Cooper ranges of jewellery, fragrance and French-milled soaps. Adjacent will be a new flagship store for Trelise Cooper Boardroom, also located in The Pavilions.
Founded in 1985, Trelise Cooper is among New Zealand’s longest-established fashion labels. Its bold use of colour and print, its mood of unconventional glamour and its contemporary take on romantic femininity have earned the label a dedicated following both locally and overseas.
“We’re delighted to be coming to Britomart and excited to be part of this beautiful new development,” says designer and founder Trelise Cooper.
“The time is absolutely right for us to make the move. Britomart has come of age as a truly international shopping precinct, offering quality brands in a world-class retail environment. We look forward to being able to offer our customers an extra special shopping experience in the precinct environment.”
Trelise Cooper and Trelise Cooper Boardroom will join leading New Zealand fashion labels Karen Walker, Taylor, Juliette Hogan and Kathryn Wilson in the eight-boutique Pavilions development. Also in the complex will be a new store concept for shoe retailer Ashley Ardrey and the first Australasian store for American cosmetics brand Bobbi Brown.
A bistro-cafe and a dessert restaurant, run by Takapuna Beach Cafe and Richmond Road Cafe owners Jackie Grant and Scott Brown, will also be part of the complex. The entire development is due for completion in December.
