Cinnamon scrolls and other market treats, silly season shoes and half-price rideshare deals
The Saturday La Cigale market at Britomart is buzzing with the arrival of warmer weather and beautiful spring produce. Strawberries are in full swing, and cherries are on the horizon. Several new stallholders have joined the crew, including Scandibunz, with their delicious cinnamon scrolls in four flavours, Salsaroha with two spicy Mexican-style sauces, and Source Botanics, who make jun, a kombucha-style drink made from fermented green tea and honey. And the ladies at Sweet As Crepes have a fancy new trailer – stop by and check it and all this other good stuff out anytime from 8.30am to 1pm.
Something new and exciting is arriving in the former Super space later this summer, but until then, the wood-panelled waterfront space is available to hire. The money raised on the day will go to restoring the Rangihoa Wetland on Waiheke Island
The Atrium on Takutai is starting to look festive, with the windows of Jo Malone London and M.A.C sparkling with Christmas baubles and holiday colour. This week, the two stores, along with Bobbi Brown, held special events to launch their Christmas and holiday season collections. Influencers and editors piled in to check out gift sets and special product releases, sip champagne and try out party season looks. We pulled aside Rebecca Wadey, project manager for Estee Lauder, to ask her about what these three beauty powerhouses have in store this Christmas. Click here to read her gifting recommendations.

Inspired by the rainbow-coloured flora and lush foliage of the Mexican rainforest, the new Nike Hyper Flora women’s collection isn’t for shrinking violets. Classic Nike workout pieces have been lavished with bright prints of Mexican breadfruit, Morning Glory and yawning tropical orchids, while colourful macaws peek from behind Monstera leaves. We reckon when your workout gear is this head-turning, it might even motivate you to work out a little harder. Available at Nike Britomart now.
