Echo, repetition and order – taylor’s AW17 collection Distant Latitudes lands in stores tomorrow and here’s a sneak peek.

The new Autumn/Winter 17 collection from taylor is called ‘Distant Latitudes’ and draws inspiration from the minimal beauty found in the recurring patterns of industry and infrastructure. The mood is stark, yet somehow rich and layered at the same time.

Kiwi photographer Adam Bryce and Australian stylist Emma Westblade paired up to shoot the collection, applying a more pared-back approach to styling which has provided a fresh direction for the label. taylor continues to stay true to its mantra of “fostering individual creativity and experimentation through inspired design” with this new range. The Rectify jacket (seen left) – a structured bomber – is our standout fave; in black for forever or mustard for the brave.

From Friday 24 February – Sunday 26 February, pop in to taylor and enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles as you discover Distant Latitudes.

You can also see the collection come alive at taylor’s installation as part of The Fashion Sessions brought to your by Westpac, where behind-the-scenes will be turned on its head with a special show happening three times throughout the day.
