On every Saturday from 8am-1pm, La Cigale Market at Britomart offers an abundance of fresh produce, specialty goods and bakery delights right in the heart of the city. We asked stylist, photographer and author Audrey Fitzjohn to create three platters that showcase all the wonderful items you can pick up at La Cigale Britomart, and here are the stomach-rumble-inducing results. Created with Parmesan, Brie and blue cheeses from NZ Cheese Co., sliced Ciabatta from Pokeno Bakery, sliced bagels from Hemon Bagels, walnuts from The Nut Guy, fresh honeycomb from Roar Honey, assorted dried fruit and olives from Anatolia Kitchen, sprouts, edible flowers and micro greens from Clevedon Herbs and Produce.
