The smash hit musical HAMILTON is making its New Zealand debut for a strictly limited season at Spark Arena from Friday 26 May, running until Sunday 11 June. Telling the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, the Tony-, Grammy-, Olivier- and Pulitzer-prizewinning production is on its first international tour in Aotearoa, direct from a stellar run across Australia.
If you're planning to go, booking lunch or dinner at one of Britomart’s eateries for before or after your performance and securing a carpark at Britomart Carpark (only a couple of minutes walk from Spark Arena) in advance will make the whole experience run as smoothly as the show itself.
Gather a group for dinner at Amano, Ebisu, Ortolana, MoVida, Alma, kingi or Cafe Hanoi, enjoy cocktails and antipasti or pizza at Bar Non Solo, casual dumplings or noodles at Perch or Ghost Street, or a post-show drink at Caretaker.
If you’re attending a matinee performance, The Brit, The Store and La Petite Fourchette make great lunchtime options, or if you’re short on time, a quick stop for a hot chocolate or gateaux at Miann is always a hit.
