Seven is putting the ‘high’ into ‘high tea’.

Forget prim and proper finger sandwiches and mille feuilles. Seven at Seafarers’ reinvention of high tea is a boisterous and indulgent Saturday afternoon rooftop cocktail party that’s as much fun as a night out.

At the new weekly Highness sessions, the tiered trays will overflow with Asian-fusion delicacies from head chef Fred Wong, such as Fried Tempura Eggplant, Shichimi Crumble Popcorn Shrimp, Rainbow Rolls, mixed sashimi, Five-Spice Duck Salad, Tempura Crunch Crayfish and Crab Shiitake, and tomato and cucumber Hamachi Sashimi. If you have a sweet tooth, you can add a dessert tier of Macarons and Portugese Tart Marshmallow Menage a Trois. And instead of cups of tea, you can sip on bottomless Mimosas, Beverley Hills Ice Tea, Boba Tea Cocktails, and Seven Palomas, as well as champagne specials all day.

There’s no sitting up straight here – just lounge back in the sun and enjoy the view across the harbour, or let your hair down and get up to dance to the tunes being played by DJ Soraya, who will be rolling out singalong classics and dance anthems.

Book for as few as two, or as many as 20, for just $40pp (excluding alcoholic beverages) by emailing, or try your luck by walking in on the day.
