Enjoyed by Melbournites for well over a decade, legendary restaurant MoVida crosses the Tasman for a not-to-be-missed month of inventive food and bustling atmosphere.

If there’s one style of dining we love, it’s tapas. Designed for sharing, this Spanish way of eating means you get to try a little bit of everything. Tangy and unapologetically flavoursome – your chance to savour some of best tapas in our little corner of the world will soon be yours.

Chef Frank Camorra, the man who revolutionised this dining culture down under, is bringing his Melbourne restaurant MoVida to Britomart thanks to Westpac World Mastercard for four weeks of creative Spanish cuisine. From 18 August to 17 September, Camorra and his team will take over the kitchen at Ostro’s new-look City Terrace.

Barcelona-born Camorra has a knack for creating dishes praised for their innovative flavours whilst still staying true to their traditional Spanish roots. After travelling to Spain in the early 2000s he opened MoVida on Melbourne’s iconic Hosier Lane. Grungy with a hint of European flair, Hosier felt more like the backstreets of Madrid than Melbourne and for Camorra it was the perfect place begin something beautiful. Fourteen years on and with two new restaurants under his belt, it’s no wonder that Camorra is now considered a bona fide rockstar of the culinary world.

Choose your selection of tapas or let the kitchen order for you and sample a cross-section of signature dishes and seasonal specials. If the promise of fantastic food and FOMO-inducing atmosphere have got you listening, then it’s the gorgeous views of Auckland from City Terrace that will have you wanting to stay all day or night.

We heard tickets for the opening night of this coveted pop-up sold out within hours, so we suggest you get in quick to avoid missing on out the remaining spots. Reservations for lunch and dinner can be made
