Britomart’s infamous dumpling bar have announced six new menu items and a seasonal cocktail, making their charming little spot even more difficult to walk past.
Xuxu, why you gotta make it so hard for us to choose? Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or something in between, the new additions are ready to be welcomed:
Roast duck and leek fried dumplings with hoisin dipping sauce, beef and mustard green dumplings, Singaporean-inspired steamed fish, sambal and coconut dumplings and tofu, shitake and Chinese chive dumpling (which happens to be vegan).
There’s a new pickled cucumber salad, a sticky rice dessert with mango, coconut and coriander (amazing). At $10 for a basket of six dumplings made in-house by hand, it’d be rude not to go say hi… and perhaps squeeze in the seasonal cocktail too: Blood Bagarre with house-made blood orange and kaffir cordial, Dorothy Parker Gin, Gentiane De Lure, Cocchi Rosa and Burlesque Bitters.
Phew. Yum. Yes please. See you there.
Fried beef and pickled mustard green dumplings, $10.
Blood Baragarre cocktail, NY Distilling ‘Dorothy Parker’ gin, Gentaine De Lure, Cocchi Rosa, Blood Orange and Kaffir cordial, bitters, $18.

Pickled cucumber salad with soy sauce, garlic and chilli, $6.50.
