This small but excellently located site, will eventually be developed with a beautiful new building.

The Tyler Street Site represents an exciting development opportunity for the Britomart precinct, opening onto both Quay Street and the waterfront to the north and Takutai Square to the south.

This small site is nestled between two of Britomarts most magnificent heritage buildings, the Northern Steamship Company Building and the Union Fish Company Building both fully refurbished. Concepts have been developed for the possible future construction on this site of a stunning steel, concrete and glass building, scaled and modelled to complement the adjacent historic structures. The site is currently occupied by a small industrial structure, used in recent years as a parking garage, bar, bistro and a rooftop terrace.
