THIS YEAR’S BEST EASTER TREATS AT BRITOMART

We really hope you haven’t given up chocolate for Lent this year.

When you’ve literally got your own chocolate factory, you can completely go to town for Easter, and Miann absolutely does. They’ve created a huge range of chocolate treats in various sizes and shapes from bunnies to baubles, but the set that we’re most in love with is this adorable six-pack of eggs, served up in a classic egg box with custom illustrations created by a friend of the owner.

Milse is also levelling up its Easter game, with its striking Feather Egg ($35). The delicately cut-out dark chocolate shell reveals a gold-coated solid salted caramel bonbon egg within. Order yours to be sure of getting one.

Orleans is bringing back its special Cadbury Cream Egg shake for April. You can get it at a regular level of decadence for $8, or add Absolut Vodka to make it a Hard Shake for $15.

Around the corner at Mexico, there’s an Easter dessert special available from Monday 8 April until Sunday 21. Creamy milk xocolate ganache and vanilla bean cheesecake are layered on top of chocolate cacao and almond soil, and served with refreshing raspberry granita, mint and las flores. It’s only $14 and is gluten-free.

Hot cross buns are selling fast at L’Assiette, Amano and Espresso Workshop, but they freeze well, so stock up now and you’ll be able enjoy them until the end of April or beyond.
