Zarya Fatialofa is a medical student and young mother of two who loves spending quality time with her husband in the city. Here, she gives us a rundown on her favourite shopping spots and places to eat at Britomart.

What's your favourite spot for date night?

ZARYA My husband and I are both medical students so it's rare to find the time to get out. When we do, Britomart is the place for us. It's a great destination to get some delicious food. We can get some shopping in and spend some quality time together. Our go-to cafe is Daily Bread. You honestly can't go wrong with a chocolate hazelnut croissant with an iced latte. When it comes to dinner, we like to go to Bar Non Solo. If you sign up as a member before or after your meal, they offer you a heavily discounted member's rate! We can't end the day without a sweet treat and Miann is the perfect place for it. We like to grab a gelato with macarons and enjoy it outside in the sun.

Where do you like to shop to treat yourself?

ZARYA As a streetwear girly, Adidas is my main store at Britomart. There's a great range of relevant streetwear and classic footwear. I never leave the store empty-handed which is probably a bit dangerous for my bank account. The staff are so lovely and are always helpful. I also love shopping at Karen Walker Playpark. It's different to their other stores as they stock different brands such as North Face, Sebago, Carhartt and Birkenstock. You can find me saving up just to spend all my money over there.

What's your favourite thing about Britomart?

ZARYA Britomart is a family favourite destination for us, whether we're shopping around the very relevant and cool stores, discovering all the yummy eateries or visiting the Saturday markets located in Takutai Square.
