Zambesi was founded by Elisabeth and Neville Findlay in 1979 and was one of the first labels in New Zealand to express a strong local identity. Its balance of innovation and restraint has had a vital role in shaping New Zealanders’ unique fashion sensibility.

Neville describes the label as “a stylist’s collection, which lends itself to people who want to be individual, and are savvy enough to understand and be confident in their own styling”. The versatile pieces are open to interpretation and can be worn and styled in many different ways, working for diverse ages, sizes and personalities.
