Have you heard of Singles Day? If not, you might be surprised to learn it's the biggest annual shopping event in the world! It launched in China a decade ago as a day for singles to celebrate themselves with a gift (it's held on November 11, or 11/11, with the ones referencing single people).
A huge part of the day is using scannable QR codes to score amazing "double 11 deals". On Tuesday 5 November, we'll be opening a Singles Day WeChat QR Code Tunnel in Takutai Square for the week leading up to Singles Day.
