The finalists in NZ Geographic's Photographer of the Year award are now on display all over Britomart – and what an incredible range of work it is.
For the third year running, Britomart is proud to work with NZ Geographic magazine to showcase the amazing range of work in the Photographer of the Year award.
It's an exhibition featuring an dizzying array of perspectives on how we live in New Zealand, with 69 finalists providing a pixel-perfect description of 2024—from wild beauty to destructive wild fires, ocean depths to mountain tops, triumph and tragedy. We have portraits of local heroes, celebrities and family.
Each has been judged for its photographic brilliance, with the winners to be announced in late October. You also have your chance to vote for your five favourites for the People's Choice Award. So get to it!
