There are lots of delicious ways to say thanks to your mum (or mother figure) on Mother’s Day this year, even if you can’t be together.

Flowers and French patisserie from La Petit Fourchette

The LPF Mother's Day High Tea delivery is filled with a selection of 10 mini-patisseries and savoury goodies, and comes paired with a bunch of blooms from Grace & Flora. There’s Quiche Lorraine, cured salmon tartare, macarons and canelé, lemon meringue tartelettes, chocolate eclairs, grilled zucchini and fish bites, chocolate and hazelnut mousse and more. Choose the package with flowers for $70, or $40 without.

A delivery service will run on Sunday 10 May and contactless pick-up will also be available on that same day between 11am and 2pm.

A three-course South-East Asian feast from Cafe Hanoi

In partnership with sister eatery Saan, Cafe Hanoi has created an eat-at-home menu for Mother's Day combining favourite dishes from both restaurants. Start with Vietnamese roast duck salad with red cabbage, pickled lotus root, pickled radish, chilli, roasted peanuts before moving on to a main of Thai Mussaman curry with Hawkes Bay lamb, Vietnamese chargrilled eggplant with toasted almonds, mint & fried shallots with rice. A South-East Asia-inspired box of sweet treats finishes the feast.

There are meals sized for two, four or six people, and you can add matching wines from Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Amisfield, Mahi, Spy Valley, Dogpoint, Redmetal or Two Hands.

Order now and it can be picked up on the day from Saan or delivered within a 10km radius on Sunday 10 May.
