With old favourites, new stallholders, longer hours and plans to grow, Auckland’s favourite inner-city fresh market is better than ever.
From Saturday 11 July, the weekly Britomart Saturday Market returns to Takutai Square. Before the Covid-19 lockdown, the market was run by the good people from La Cigale, but they’ve decided to focus on their market in Parnell, meaning that the Britomart Saturday Market is now under new management.
The line-up at the market covers off everything from fresh produce and flowers to coffee, vegan foods, pastries, sweet buns, crepes, juices and savoury snacks, with more stallholders being added every month. Right now, look out for:
Hot Dog Father
Home made Goodies
Whenu Ataahua (NEW)
House of Fungi (NEW)
If you have an artisan food, takeout, craft or design stall that you think would work well at Britomart, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch with Gary or Ale by emailing them to enquire [Info@cityfarmersmarketltd.nz] about joining the downtown crowd every Saturday.
Don’t forget that we have two hours of free parking at Britomart Carpark, with a $10 receipt – plenty of time to grab some fruit and veggies for the week, have a coffee, grab something to eat and have a look around the shops in the precinct. The Britomart Saturday Market is open from 8am every Saturday, rain or shine, in Takutai Square, Britomart.
