One of New Zealand’s most successful fashion exports, Trelise Cooper combines colour, texture and print to create an eclectic form of glamour.

Trelise Cooper’s whimsical but wearable designs have seen her establish a fashion empire whose growth shows no sign of abating. And with 12 boutiques – and 300 stockists – worldwide, it was only a matter of time before the much-loved label opened a flagship boutique at Britomart.

The space is designed like an art gallery, with clean, light-filled interiors allowing the clothes to function as installation pieces. The simplicity of the store puts the garments centre stage, and the focus is on creating a unique shopping experience with exceptional customer service.

Trelise Cooper’s mainline range is available, alongside the Cooper by Trelise diffusion line and the edgier Coop by Trelise Cooper collection. The boutique also carries the brand’s signature fragrance, jewellery and French-milled soaps, and the Trelise Cooper Boardroom flagship store is located right next door.

Beautiful clothes for fabulous women

Born and raised in New Zealand, Trelise founded the label in 1985 without formal training but with a desire to create beautiful clothing for women. Trelise Cooper is now one of New Zealand’s most successful fashion designers, and her flirty frocks and glamorous gowns have been worn by Liv Tyler and Miranda Kerr.

The raw elements of Trelise Cooper’s gorgeous garments and covetable collections are superb materials, bold graphic prints and ornate detailing such as beadwork and embroidery. Trelise designs her clothes with ‘fabulous and empowered women in mind’ and strives to give women ‘the freedom to engage with fashion without being dictated by it’.
