The ever-chic manager of Fabric has her eye on some goodies from their own shelves, and a few things from the other side of Takutai Square.

How will you be spending your Christmas period?

Working. But Christmas Day, we’re going to my husband’s family. And then in the evening we’ll be going to my family. All my family is getting together. Too much eating and drinking. All of that. And then work again on Boxing Day.

I’ll be there.

You were here last year.

I was probably here every year. What do you do to celebrate Christmas?

Put a tree up. I have a daughter and I like to make it really special and pretty for her. I like wrapping the presents. And watching people open them and just seeing people’s expressions. I love gifts. I buy myself gifts all through the year. It’s like therapy.

What do you do for others at Christmas?

I used to bake for my daughter’s teachers, and make up little goodie bags, but that was before I was working here full-time. I’ll do something for them though.

Do you have a Wish List of things you’d quite like people to get you for Christmas?

Yes!

  • Chanel sunglasses. And Vouchers from Chanel for new make-up.
  • New gym gear from Nike.
  • New jeans from Fabric.

Have you got any ideas for your Gift List?

Also yes!

  • Some Nike tees.
  • We’re getting new Mahsa in. I’ve pre ordered some for myself already!
  • And some new Comme Des Garçons. Maybe a Comme shirt for my husband.
  • My daughter wants a hover board. We need a boutique toy store in Auckland. It’s the one thing Britomart is lacking!
